About Jill

After 15 years as a Registered Dietitian, my path from a BS in Exercise Physiology to an MS in Nutritional Science at Brigham Young University led me through corporate wellness, research and academia, community health, and private practice. As an RD and CDCES I focus on practical, evidence-informed care that helps people feel more confident in their food choices. Nutrition should feel supportive, not stressful. Outside of work I recharge by hiking, camping, gardening, biking, and experimenting in the kitchen.

Approach to care

I center care on science-informed, compassionate guidance that teaches skills you can keep. We'll focus on behaviors that improve health rather than weight alone, using a health at every size perspective to avoid diet culture. I combine clear, actionable steps and accountability with education so you understand the why behind recommendations. By addressing nutrition alongside sleep, stress, movement, and routines, we create realistic, sustainable habits together that fit your life long term. What I value most is building genuine connections. I know that food and health beliefs are deeply personal, and I strive to meet you exactly where you are, without judgment.

Your first session with Jill

In our first session, I take time to get to know you—your health history, lifestyle, concerns, and what led you to seek nutrition support. My goal is to create a comfortable, supportive space where you feel heard and understood. We'll also dig into your relationship with food to understand patterns, strengths, and areas to shift. From there we'll establish short-term, manageable goals and build a practical meal plan or next steps you can try right away. There's no need to have everything figured out, we'll move at a pace that reduces overwhelm and supports lasting change.
