About Jessica

Nutrition has been my daily work for 13 years, shaped by clinical training and a genuine curiosity about how food fits into real life. I earned an MS in Clinical Nutrition from New York University and completed my dietetic internship at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. As an RD and CDN with IFNCP training, I've worked in hospital settings, private practice, corporate wellness, community health, and media. I bring that variety into each visit, and when I'm not with patients you can usually find me cooking, working out, writing, reading, or spending time with family.

Approach to care

Evidence matters, and so does your experience. I practice from a weight-neutral, Health At Every Size perspective and focus on sustainable, behavior-focused change grounded in current research. We'll work together in a warm, nonjudgmental way, while keeping things direct and action-oriented so you have clear, practical steps to try. I look at the whole person, not just food, and I make space for sleep, movement, stress, and values. Education is central, so you'll understand the why behind recommendations and gain skills that last.

Your first session with Jessica

The first visit is a low-pressure conversation where we'll review your medical history and any lab work or biometrics you have, so we can see the full picture. We'll talk about your routines, wins, and challenges, and together we'll set one to three short-term, realistic goals with a clear first step you can try. You do not need to have everything figured out before we meet. We'll move at a pace that fits your life and leave the appointment with practical next steps rather than pressure.
