About Jennifer

After a couple of years trying to figure out the age-old question: what should I do with my life, I settled on the one thing I know best, food! After earning a BS in Nutrition Science at North Carolina State University and a BS in Environmental Sciences at The University of Alabama with a concentration in Nutrition Sciences, I dove into this passion by becoming a Registered Dietitian and working in both clinical and community health settings. As a Registered Dietitian and CNSC with seven years of experience, I love helping people untangle confusing nutrition advice and build habits that actually fit their lives. Outside of work you'll find me cooking, trying new restaurants, hiking, lifting, reading, playing board games, and spending time with family.

Approach to care

Evidence matters, and so does how food fits into your real life. I use current science as our foundation while honoring Health At Every Size principles, so we focus on behaviors and quality of life rather than numbers on a scale. I aim to educate and give clear, practical steps, while staying warm and nonjudgmental. Together we'll create sustainable, personalized strategies that consider your physical, emotional, and lifestyle needs, and adjust as you grow.

Your first session with Jennifer

Expect a calm, judgment-free conversation where we'll review your medical history and take a deep dive into your relationship with food. You don't need to have answers or perfect logs, just bring what feels true for you. We'll talk about what's been working, where you feel stuck, and what your goals are. By the end we'll have a couple of straightforward, achievable steps to try together so you leave with clarity and a practical next move.
