About Jane

Hi, I’m Jane. I’m a Registered Dietitian with 11 years of experience, grounded in a BS in Nutrition and an MSCN-CP. My background spans community health and hospital settings, and I carry the MS, LD, and RD postnominals with pride. I practice in Houston, Texas, and I love translating science into everyday meals. Outside the clinic, you’ll find me in the kitchen experimenting with seasonal produce, tending a garden, or enjoying outdoor time with tennis, powerwalking, or kayaking. I’m also a food critic at heart, always curious about how flavor and nourishment come together. I’m here to help you feel seen and supported on your health journey.

Approach to care

My care philosophy is simple: we work from evidence, with empathy, toward lasting change. I ground our plan in current research and proven protocols, then translate it into clear, doable steps you can actually fit into daily life. I create a warm, judgment-free space where you’re seen, heard, and invited to participate. I honor Health At Every Size principles, focusing on sustainable behaviors rather than quick fixes, and I look at you as a whole person, including meals, sleep, stress, physical activity, and what supports your mood. I aim to educate you, so you leave with knowledge you can use and confidence to advocate for your health.

Your first session with Jane

Our first appointment is a welcoming, collaborative conversation focused on you. We'll do a gentle deep dive into your relationship with food and review your medical history, lab work and biometrics if available. Together we'll establish short-term goals and outline a realistic meal plan that fits your life. You don't need to arrive with every detail figured out; we'll explore what matters most to you and tailor practical steps. My aim is to reduce anxiety and set you up with clear, doable actions you can start soon.
