About Jamie
Nutrition has been a guiding thread through my life, leading me from a B.S. in Nutrition at The University of Texas at Austin to an M.S. in Nutrition at Long Island University. With two years as a registered dietitian and experience in both clinical hospital settings and private practice, I bring hands-on problem solving and genuine curiosity to each visit. As an RD, I combine science with real life, and I'm passionate about helping others heal, grow, and feel empowered through food. When I'm not working you'll find me baking, exploring new restaurants, or trying a new workout class around Austin.
Approach to care
Food is both science and daily life. I use current research to guide practical, evidence-based strategies while paying attention to the whole person, including sleep, stress, movement, and routines. We'll work together in a judgment-free way, using clear action steps and accountability that feels supportive, not punitive. I focus on sustainable habits, skill-building, and education so you can make informed choices that fit your life long term.
Your first session with Jamie
When we meet for the first time, we'll review your medical history and any lab work or biometrics you have so I can see the full picture. We'll talk about your routines, wins, and frustrations in a low-pressure, nonjudgmental conversation, then translate that into one or two short-term goals that feel achievable. You don't need to have everything figured out before our visit, just bring your questions. We'll leave with practical next steps and a plan we build together.
