About Jaclyn
After 12 years working as a registered dietitian in both the hospital and outpatient settings, I bring clinical experience and an MS in Human Nutrition from Winthrop University to help patients make sustainable changes. My training as an RDN, LDN and CNSC informs the way I translate evidence into practical plans that fit busy lives. Outside clinic, painting watercolors, reading, practicing yoga, and playing with my kids keep me centered and remind me why compassionate, realistic care matters.
Approach to care
Science guides the recommendations I offer, and your lived experience guides the plan we create together. I practice from a Health At Every Size, weight-neutral perspective, focusing on behaviors, wellbeing, and long-term habits rather than quick fixes or numbers on a scale. We'll work in a warm, nonjudgmental space where I translate evidence into clear, action-oriented steps. I also prioritize teaching skills so you leave sessions confident, supported, and able to sustain change.
Your first session with Jaclyn
Expect a relaxed, judgment-free conversation where we'll review your medical history and take a deep look at your relationship with food. You don't need to have answers or perfect records, just come as you are. We'll explore what matters to you, identify a couple of short-term goals that feel doable, and agree on clear next steps. My aim is to make this appointment low-pressure and collaborative so we can begin building sustainable habits together.
