About Heather

Food touches every corner of life, and that belief has guided me through 17 years as a Registered Dietitian. I earned my MS in Dietetics from the University of Colorado and practice as an RDN, licensed as a CDN and LDN. My career has spanned clinical and hospital care, NICU work, community health programs, and private practice, so I understand many parts of the system. When I'm not reviewing research, you might find me gardening, foraging, crafting, or making art. I don't hand out rigid meal plans, I help you build changes that actually fit your real life.

Approach to care

I use current science as the backbone of care, while honoring that food is shaped by emotions, relationships, and daily logistics. Together we'll translate evidence into practical, sustainable steps that respect your life and values. I take a weight-neutral stance, focusing on behaviors and health, not numbers on a scale. Sessions are warm, judgment-free, and action-oriented, with clear education so you can make informed choices and keep the progress long term.

Your first session with Heather

We'll keep the first visit relaxed and focused on understanding you. We'll review your medical history and any lab work or biometrics, and take a deep look at your relationship with food, routines, and barriers. From that conversation we'll establish a couple of short-term goals that feel doable, not overwhelming. You don't need to have everything figured out, just bring your questions and honest experiences and we'll build a plan together.
