About Haley
I believe food has the power to heal both mind and body, and helping people build a positive, balanced relationship with eating is what drives me as a dietitian. What started as a curiosity in science became personal when I saw firsthand how thoughtful nutrition and care can support healing in eating disorder recovery. As a Registered Dietitian (RD, RDN, LD) with a BS in Nutrition Science from Central Washington University and five years of clinical experience working with eating disorders, I focus on practical, sustainable strategies that fit your life, not rigid rules or one-size-fits-all approaches. When Iām not working, you might find me hiking, renovating, chasing my kids around, or tending to my garden. I bring that same hands-on, problem-solving energy to our sessions, helping you explore what works for your body, your schedule, and your goals.
Approach to care
I center our work on current evidence while keeping your life and values front and center. My approach is weight-neutral and grounded in Health At Every Size principles, yet firmly science-focused, so we build strategies that actually work. We'll move forward together, setting small, clear steps that fit your routine, and Iāll teach you the why behind recommendations so you can make informed choices long term. The goal is sustainable habits, not quick fixes, delivered with empathy and practical accountability.
Your first session with Haley
Expect a calm, conversational first visit where we review your medical history and talk honestly about whatās been working and what hasnāt. Weāll take a gentle deep dive into your relationship with food, uncover barriers, and establish short-term goals that feel manageable. Thereās no pressure to be perfect, and you donāt need to have answers ahead of time. Weāll leave the session with clear next steps, and a foundation for longer-term growth weāll build together.
