About Gil
A career in nutrition started with an MS in Nutrition and Dietetics and has grown into 15 years of helping people in hospitals and community health programs. As an RD I bring science-based care into everyday life, whether that means troubleshooting lab results, teaching simple cooking techniques, or sharing tips from my travels. I love reading to stay current, listening to music while I cook, and helping patients turn small changes into habits that last.
Approach to care
Nutrition care should be rooted in science and in the realities of your life. I use current research to guide clear, actionable steps we can try together, while keeping the process warm and nonjudgmental. My work is weight-neutral, focused on behaviors and whole-person health including sleep, stress, and routines. I prioritize education so you understand the why behind each strategy, and we adapt plans for sustainability rather than quick fixes.
Your first session with Gil
Expect a relaxed, collaborative conversation where we go through your medical history, review any lab work or biometrics you have, and identify a couple of short-term goals that feel realistic. You don’t need to have all the answers, just bring what you can. We’ll leave with clear, practical next steps and a plan to check progress together, keeping adjustments flexible as we learn what works for you.
