About Gabrielle
Food and kitchens have always been where I connect science with everyday life. I earned my Doctorate in Clinical Nutrition from the University of North Florida, and over the past seven years as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Iāve worked across hospitals, long-term care, and residential settings supporting individuals with disabilities. Alongside my clinical training, I have a strong culinary background (my bachelors is in Culinary Nutrition from Johnson & Wales University), which shapes how I approach nutrition in a practical, hands-on way. My clinical focus is in GI nutrition, and I work with both children and adults navigating digestive concerns. Iām especially passionate about helping people feel more confident in the kitchen while preserving the cultural food traditions that matter most to them. Outside of work, youāll find me hiking, cooking, trying new restaurants, traveling (I'm a Junior ranger), reading, embroidering, volunteering, or at a concert.
Approach to care
My approach is rooted in science, but always grounded in real life. I specialize in GI nutrition and use current evidence to translate complex conditions into clear, practical steps you can actually follow, whether youāre managing symptoms yourself or supporting your child. I practice from a Health at Every Sizeāinformed perspective, focusing on behaviors, safety, and variety rather than weight. I also recognize that nutrition looks different across life stages, and tailor care to meet the needs of both children and adults. Sessions are collaborative, supportive, and honest. Iāll meet you where you are, offer guidance thatās both realistic and culturally respectful, and help you build sustainable habits so small changes add up to meaningful, long-term progress.
Your first session with Gabrielle
Your first session is a calm, judgment-free conversation. Weāll review your (or your childās) medical history, any relevant lab work, and talk through current routines, symptoms, and concerns. Together, weāll identify one or two realistic short-term goals and outline practical steps you can try between visits. If youāre a parent or caregiver, weāll focus on strategies that feel manageable for your family and your childās needs. You donāt need to have everything figured out ahead of time, this is a starting point. My role is to help you create a clear, manageable plan and support you as you find what works best for your life and your kitchen.
