Patient reviews
âGabriela is compassionate, knowledgeable, and will absolutely hold me accountable (which is what I really need). However, she does so in a gentle way that prompts me think, helps me to process, and come to conclusions on my own â all the while, fueled by her expert guidance. Sheâll offer practical tools to help implement the plan youâve developed together. Its a partnership. Sheâll meet you where you are, but will encourage you to keep on improving. Iâve learned A TON. â

âGabriella is an incredibly kind and knowledgeable nutritionist. Iâve been meeting with her weekly for the past several months, and she has truly changed my life. I genuinely look forward to our appointments because I learn something new every time. Sheâs given me the tools, encouragement, and motivation to stay committed to my goals. More than that, sheâs created a safe, supportive space where I can be honest with both her and myself.â

âGabi has transformed how I approach nutrition and wellbeing. She teaches discipline in a way that feels empowering, not restrictive or judgmental. She helped me rebuild structure, understand the âwhyâ behind my choices, and create sustainable behavior I can maintain. Best decision was seeing a nutritionist, second best was trusting Gabi. â

About Gabriela
What I Offer: I help athletes cut through the noise and fuel with purpose. I focus on optimizing energy and body composition, reducing injury risk, and supporting immune health, training adaptations and recovery capacity. I streamline science into practical systems that fit your busy lifestyleâwhether youâre traveling, juggling school/work with sport, or competing at the professional level. Who I Am: I am a Cuban-American sports dietitian with over a decade of experience, including serving as the first full-time Minor League Sports Dietitian for the Boston Red Sox. Fluent in Spanish, I connect with a wide community of athletes. Beyond credentials, Iâm an athlete at heart who knows the challenge of balancing sport, academics, and life. Food, to me, is more than fuelâitâs culture, connection, and joy. That passion shapes my workâhelping athletes perform, recover, and approach food with confidence as they aim for excellence.
Approach to care
My approach is straightforward: no judgment, no fadsâjust approaches that work. Nutrition should reduce stress, not add to it, so I create a space where athletes can be honest and curious. Athletes donât need another strict dietâthey need clarity, consistency, and strategies they can trust. I teach how to eat: adequate, balanced, consistent, distributed, and varied, so fueling becomes second nature. Prevention beats repair, and fueling smart today keeps you stronger tomorrow. My philosophy with supplements is simple: fuel with food, fill gaps with supplements. While I donât chase quick âbio-hacks,â I do value insights from testing like labs, gut health, or micronutrient analysis to guide smarter fueling. Every athlete is different, so my plans are custom-fit, practical, and sustainable. Iâm not here to hand out one-size-fits-all meal plans but to teach skills athletes can carry for life.
Your first session with Gabriela
Your first session is all about youâyour goals, routines, challenges, and vision for where you want to go. Weâll start with a conversation to get a clear picture of your training, eating habits, lifestyle, and priorities. You can expect an open and collaborative space where honesty is encouraged and curiosity is welcome. By the end of our session, youâll walk away with meaningful insights, clarity on next steps, and a better understanding of how nutrition can begin supporting your performance, recovery, and overall health.
