About Francine
Hi, I'm Francine! I'm a registered dietitian specializing in sports nutrition and general clinical nutrition. With opportunities working as a director for performance nutrition in Division I athletics, private practice sports and general nutrition consulting, as well as working as a clinical dietitian in both the hospital and outpatient settings, I am equipped and excited to help clients like you through Nourish. I have exceptional experience helping individuals interested in enhancing exercise performance, navigate weight management, and supporting individuals in healing their relationship with food by addressing disordered eating patterns. I also enjoy working with clients managing diabetes or cardiovascular conditions, providing evidence-based guidance tailored to their unique health needs.
Approach to care
My care philosophy is evidence-based, client-centered, and nutrition strategies will vary depending on each unique individual. We'll base goals and objectives on current research and proven protocols, but we'll always tailor it to your life, preferences, and goals. My practice emphasizes sustainable behaviors, not quick fixes or dieting culture. I aim to support your mental and physical well-being, taking a holistic view of sleep, stress, activity, and food. I'm committed to educating you so you can confidently make informed choices that last.
Your first session with Francine
During your first session, we'll explore your medical history, past lab work, relationship with food, current routines, and your nutrition goals. I'll listen to what has mattered to you and what hasn't, and we'll map out a realistic plan together. You don't need to have everything figured out; bring your questions and I'm here to guide you along the way. By the end, we'll often identify 1 or 2 goals that you can get started on!
