About Fancy
Hi, Iām Fancy, a Registered Dietitian based in the San Francisco Bay Area. For over 15 years, I have helped people improve blood sugar, manage weight, and build sustainable habits as an outpatient dietitian. My areas of focus include diabetes self management education, CGM education, carbohydrate counting, weight management, and cardiovascular and metabolic health. I am passionate about providing culturally sensitive, patient centered care that respects your background, preferences, and daily life. I am not the food police. My goal is to understand your story and help you find realistic, sustainable strategies that truly fit your life. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, listening to peopleās stories, grocery shopping, and exploring ingredient labels for both food and personal care products. I also stay active with at home workouts, enjoy small home projects, and volunteer in the community. I hold CDCES and CLE credentials in addition to my RD and RDN.

My approach blends evidence based practice with warmth, empathy, and collaboration. You wonāt be judged here. I create a safe space where we work together to understand your habits, challenges, and goals. Together, we turn nutrition science into practical steps that fit your everyday life, such as managing cravings, eating out with confidence, improving energy, or better controlling blood sugar without feeling restricted. I focus on sustainable habits rather than perfection, while taking a holistic view of sleep, stress, activity, and your relationship with food, and we move at a pace that feels right for you. I believe everyone can make positive changes. Whether you are just starting or have tried many approaches before, I will meet you where you are. My goal is to help you feel confident, build lasting habits, and improve your health in a sustainable way, creating a positive ripple effect not only for you, but also for your family and community.
Your first session with Fancy
Our first session is all about you. We'll create a welcoming, judgment-free space where you can share your story, goals, and concerns. We will review your medical history, lab work and biometrics, and discuss your current routine, then establish 1 or 2 short term goals. Together weāll outline a personalized meal plan that respects your preferences and schedule, and Iāll explain the next steps for tracking progress. You donāt need to have everything figured out yet just show up as you are and weāll start building a plan that feels doable and sustainable.
