Patient reviews
“I have been working with Emma for over a month now. She is so wonderful. She does a great job of making my goals feel achievable while also pushing me to make the changes necessary. I feel like she really understands what will be helpful in our sessions and does a great job explaining the reasoning behind the changes and goals we set.“

About Emma
I’m a Registered Dietitian and Certified Personal Trainer. In addition I have completed FODMAP training with Monash University. Through my own battles with IBS, SIBO, Hashimoto’s, and disordered eating I understand how confusing, and overwhelming nutrition can be. I saw firsthand how nutrition misinformation and fear-mongering food can lead to dangerous behaviors. If we listened to everyone on social media telling us what not to eat - we would literally have nothing left to eat! I want you to make your food decisions based on facts and not fear. If you feel lost, unheard, frustrated, and defeated in your health, I have been there and I want to help you!
Approach to care
I believe sustainable nutrition and fitness comes from flexible consistency rather than perfection. I won’t be giving you a crash diet but will teach you realistic healthy habits that align with your lifestyle. Everyone is different, and health can be impacted by many areas of life, therefore, I focus on tailored advice, diving into many lifestyle factors such as nutrition, sleep, exercise, stress, etc… Nutrition doesn’t have to be hard, confusing, or controlling. All foods can fit within a healthy diet. Let me teach you how to celebrate food without obsession, and make healthy choices without the bondage of rules.
Your first session with Emma
You can expect a low key, comfortable, open, and safe environment. I will be asking quite a few questions regarding you, your medical history, day-to-day schedules, exercise, sleep, supplements, and of course what you normally eat:) We will discuss what you hope to get out of these sessions, come up with some goals together, possibly some nutrition education, and I will answer any and all questions (might not have all the answers) that you may bring!
