About Emily
Hi, my name is Emily! I am a Registered Dietitian, excited to walk alongside people on their individual path to health. I have experience in both the inpatient and outpatient settings where I have worked with a variety of populations. My passion is to help people make peace with food to support their individual health goals.
Approach to care
I am welcoming of all patients from all walks of life and strive to create a safe, non-judgmental, collaborative space for everyone I meet. My approach to care is based on the belief that there is not a one-size-fits-all solution to health and nutrition. I provide evidence-based interventions that are sustainable, culturally respectful, and individualized. When it comes to weight, I focus on addressing behaviors and reconnecting to our body signals rather than solely looking at numbers. My goal is to help my patients understand nutrition and their personal health so that they feel empowered and can live their life to the fullest.
Your first session with Emily
Our first session will be an opportunity for me to get to know you which is important so that we can create specific goals that will be realistic. We will go over various factors that affect health including sleep, stress, medical history, and your relationship to food and self. My hope is that you leave our session feeling empowered to take the next step on your nutrition path!
