About Emily

Food has been my favorite way to connect with people - from making family recipe traditions to sharing time around the table. As an RDN and LD with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Maryland, College Park and nine years of practice, I bring practical, science-based guidance that fits real life. When I’m not working with patients you’ll find me cooking, reading, or trying new coffees, and I bring that same curiosity to every plan we create together. I practice an inclusive approach to nutrition while keeping your goals top of mind. Together, we will make a plan that considers your budget, preferences, cultural considerations, and lifestyle preferences - all while helping you meet your goals.

Approach to care

Evidence guides the recommendations I share and empathy shapes how we get there. I practice an inclusive approach to nutrition focusing on behaviors and I prioritize long-term, sustainable habits over quick fixes. Together we’ll translate research into clear, practical steps you can use day to day. I aim to be both warm and direct, educating you so decisions feel manageable, culturally relevant, and suited to your budget and preferences.

Your first session with Emily

Expect a relaxed, judgment-free conversation where we’ll get to know each other and review your medical history, lab work, and current biometrics. We’ll talk about what’s working, what’s frustrating, and what matters most to you, then set a couple of short-term goals that feel realistic. Let’s get to know each other, and together we’ll develop strategies that honor your preferences, budget, and whole life so change can stick.
