Patient reviews
βEllen really listened and was very knowledgeable. I really liked her approach and calm demeanor. She made me feel very comfortable and confident! There was no pressure, no agenda. She gave me lots of information, guidance, resources and some good analogies. I highly recommend her! β

About Ellen
Hi, and welcome. Iβm Ellen Reiss-Goldfarb, RDN, CEDS-C, a Registered Dietitian and Certified Eating Disorders Specialist with over 25 years of experience helping individuals heal their relationship with food. I specialize in working with adults struggling with binge eating, emotional eating, and eating disorders, including anorexia, bulimia, and other forms of disordered eating. My goal is to help clients move away from cycles of dieting, guilt, and shame and toward a more peaceful, balanced relationship with food and their bodies.
Approach to care
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and individualized. Together we explore the emotional, behavioral, and nutritional factors that influence eating patterns while developing practical tools that support lasting and sustainable change. I aim to create a supportive space where clients feel understood, respected, and empowered in their recovery. My practice focuses on adults working to improve their relationship with food, including binge eating, emotional eating , and disorder recovery. I maintained a private practice for more than 20 years, providing individual counseling as well as educational seminars and speaking engagements on eating disorders and body image.
