About Elizabeth
Hi there! I’m Elizabeth Rutledge, a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. I became a dietitian to be the caring, knowledgeable professional I needed when I was younger. I help individuals manage health concerns while letting go of the shame often tied to food and body image. Many of my clients feel overwhelmed by conflicting nutrition messages—together, we simplify the noise and create a realistic plan to reach their goals. My specialties include metabolic health, intuitive eating, and support for eating disorders and disordered eating patterns. I believe nutrition should fit into your life, not complicate it. With two kiddos, I understand how hard it can be to balance health with a busy schedule—if I can’t manage something, I don’t expect my clients to either! And here’s a secret: even though I cook daily for my family, I don’t always love meal planning or grocery shopping. I focus on keeping it simple and enjoyable—because nourishing ourselves shouldn’t feel like a burden.
Approach to care
My approach is trauma-informed, weight-inclusive, and deeply personalized, focusing on what truly works best for you. I believe that lasting change happens when you feel safe, supported, and understood. Together, we’ll explore your unique relationship with food, body, and health—without judgment or shame.
Your first session with Elizabeth
In our early sessions, we’ll explore your relationship with food and what “healthy” means for you personally. As we progress, you can expect to learn individualized nutrition habits that you can genuinely embrace and stick with for the long term. My goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where you can feel empowered to make positive changes at your own pace.
