About Elizabeth
Over 25 years as a Registered Dietitian have shown me that lasting change comes from practical, science-based steps that fit your life. I hold a BS in Food & Nutrition, an MS in Nutrition and a PhD in Health Science, and I practice as an RDN. My career has taken me through clinical and hospital care, research and academia, and work with medical device teams focused on feeding tubes. Outside of work I recharge by golfing, hiking, traveling, and volunteering. I enjoy turning evidence into clear, attainable strategies we can try together.
Approach to care
Evidence steers my recommendations, education empowers your choices, and your goals shape the plan we create together. I practice through a weight-neutral, health at every size lens, focusing on sustainable habits rather than quick fixes. We will combine current research with practical, doable steps, addressing the whole person, including emotional and lifestyle factors. You can expect clear action items, compassionate accountability, and a judgment-free space where we adapt strategies until they truly fit your life.
Your first session with Elizabeth
Expect a relaxed, collaborative conversation where we'll review your medical history and the context around your eating or feeding needs. We'll talk about routines, challenges, and what matters most to you, then establish one or two short-term, realistic goals to get started. You don't need to have everything figured out. I'll listen, answer questions, and provide education so we leave with a clear, low-pressure plan you can actually sustain.
