About Dima
Food has always felt like both science and a way to connect. After ten years working as a registered dietitian in hospital settings, I bring clinical experience and practical problem solving to everyday life. I studied Human Nutrition with a minor in psychology, and I’m a certified diabetes educator as well as an LD and RD. Outside of work I love cooking and playing ultimate frisbee, hobbies that remind me nutrition should fit the life you actually want to live.
Approach to care
Grounded in current research, I combine clear, actionable steps with a warm, nonjudgmental space so we can build sustainable habits together. I am direct about priorities and practical about how we’ll measure progress, while keeping a weight-neutral, behavior-focused perspective that resists diet culture. We’ll consider sleep, stress, relationships with food, and daily routines, and I aim to teach you the skills and evidence-based reasoning to make informed choices long term.
Your first session with Dima
Our first visit is a relaxed, collaborative conversation where we’ll review your medical history and talk through your routines, wins, and frustrations. You don’t need to have everything figured out beforehand—this is judgment-free and low pressure. Together we’ll identify realistic priorities, set one or two practical next steps based on evidence, and agree how we’ll follow up and adjust as you make progress.
