About Diana
I changed my major and decided to become a dietitian after struggling with my own relationship with food and my body in college. I'm passionate about helping others find peace with food and their bodies, while helping them meet their health and wellness goals. I bring nearly 14 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian, which has been shaped by clinical, primary care, community health, and telehealth settings. I'm also a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES), and I hold a special interest helping those with prediabetes and diabetes. I'm a stay-at-home parent and also work from home. Outside of that, I love running, swimming, doing all of the things with my young kids, and hanging with my retired dressage horse who is turning 26 this summer!
Approach to care
Some people come in expecting nutrition counseling to be a dietitian handing you a meal plan and telling you exactly what to do. My role is a little different than that. You're in the driver's seat, and I'm here to offer support, encouragement, and education to help you get where you want to go. I bring research-based recommendations, experience, and most importantly, an open and empathetic ear. You bring your real life— your schedule, preferences, stress level, budget, medical history, and what feels realistic in terms of goals. The best plan is something we build together, because even the most “perfect” plan doesn’t work if it doesn’t fit your life. My job is to help you figure out what will be effective, sustainable, and meaningful for you.
Your first session with Diana
Expect a relaxed, judgment-free conversation where we'll discuss your reasons for seeking out nutrition counseling, and any lab work or biometrics you might want to review. We can also discuss your relationship with food if that's helpful. By the end of the visit, we'll establish a few short-term goals and a clear next step, so you leave feeling heard, supported, and ready to start making sustainable changes together.
