About Devon
Hi there! My name is Devon, and I am a registered dietitian with five years of experience helping individuals navigate their health and nutrition journeys. I previously worked in weight management, where I supported individuals with a wide range of goals, including those pursuing bariatric surgery and those using GLP-1 medications. I bring both professional expertise and deep empathy to my work. I understand that everyone’s relationship with food is unique, shaped by personal experiences, challenges, and goals. My approach is rooted in creating a judgment-free space where you can feel safe, heard, and supported without guilt or shame. I believe that all foods can have a place in a balanced lifestyle, and that sustainable health comes from moderation, not restriction. Together, we’ll focus on building realistic habits, fostering a positive relationship with food, and helping you feel confident in your choices—both physically and emotionally.
Approach to care
Food and health are personal, scientific, and social all at once. I use current science-based evidence to guide recommendations while staying warm and nonjudgmental so you feel heard and respected. I believe it is important to provide you with the evidence but to still meet you where you are. We focus on behaviors that support long-term wellbeing, not weight or quick fixes, and I give clear, actionable steps so progress is measurable. I consider the whole person, explain the science in plain terms, and teach skills we can use together for lasting, sustainable change.
Your first session with Devon
Expect a calm, collaborative visit where we'll gently review your medical history, any lab work or biometrics you have, and review your current diet. We'll talk about your routines, wins, and frustrations, then establish two or three short-term goals that feel realistic and meaningful to you. You don't need perfect records or to have everything figured out. I'll help interpret results, answer your questions, and together we'll outline practical next steps you can take to work towards a healthier life.
