About Debra
With 30 years as a Registered Dietitian, my path has taken me through hospital wards and community health programs, where I learned that lasting change comes from practical plans and real-life support. I hold a BS in dietetics and practice as an RD with CSOWM, which informs my science-forward counseling. Outside of work I keep moving with Pilates, jogging, and hiking, and I volunteer because staying connected to my community fuels my work. I love helping people build sustainable habits that fit their lives.
Approach to care
I combine current evidence with warmth and practical action so nutrition becomes doable, not stressful. We work together, focusing on behaviors and skills rather than quick fixes or weight-focused rules. I draw on research and clinical experience to set clear, realistic steps, while honoring the whole person, including emotional and lifestyle factors. Education is part of every visit, so you'll leave understanding why a change matters and how we'll make it stick for the long term.
Your first session with Debra
Expect a relaxed, judgment-free conversation where we'll review your medical history, lab work and other biometrics to understand the full picture. We'll take time to explore your relationship with food and the routines that shape your health, then set a couple of short-term, realistic goals so you have clear next steps. You do not need to have everything figured out, just bring your questions and we'll create a plan together.
