About David
Hi, Im David! I’m a Registered Dietitian with a master's degree in nutrition and dietetics. I'm dedicated to helping individuals build sustainable, realistic habits that support their overall health and well-being. My experience includes supporting clients from a wide range of nutritional concerns, including sports performance, complex patients at a level 1 trauma center, gut health issues, neurodivergent patients, and eating disorders. In addition, I have research on gut health, published in the European Society of Medicine. My approach focuses on meeting you where you are, understanding your unique lifestyle, and creating personalized strategies that actually fit into your day-to-day life. I’m passionate about making nutrition feel approachable, flexible, and empowering rather than restrictive or overwhelming, while focusing on the root cause. Outside of my work, I enjoy cooking, baking, and lifting, which all continue to shape my own relationship with food and health.
Approach to care
My approach centers on balance, consistency, and progress over perfection. I also recognize that nutrition isn’t just about food, rather, it’s deeply connected to your mindset, habits, and emotions. A big part of our work may involve exploring the mental side of eating and how your thoughts, stress, and past experiences shape your relationship with food. Rather than applying quick fixes or band-aid solutions, I focus on identifying and addressing the root causes so we can create lasting change. I take a collaborative, compassionate, non-judgmental approach to help you build a healthier, more sustainable relationship with food while working toward your goals, whether that’s improving energy, managing a condition, or developing long-term habits in a way that feels realistic and supportive to your life.
Your first session with David
In our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know you and your goals, health history, stress, current eating habits, hobbies, lifestyle, and any challenges you’ve faced. It’s a relaxed, judgment-free conversation where you can be honest about what’s been working and what hasn’t. From there, we’ll start putting together a plan that feels realistic and doable for your life, with small steps you can actually follow. My goal is for you to leave feeling clear on what to do next and supported moving forward.
