About Darcy

Food curiosity led me to the University of Maine, where I earned a MS in Food Science and Nutrition with a concentration in Human Nutrition and Dietetics. After a year working in clinical and hospital settings, I practice as a registered and licensed dietitian who enjoys translating research into practical, gentle strategies. I love cooking and crafting, and spending time with friends and family helps me stay grounded and keep recommendations realistic for everyday life.

Approach to care

Science guides the recommendations I bring, and compassion guides how we use them. I offer evidence-based strategies while keeping our work judgment-free and focused on behaviors that support long-term wellbeing. We'll set clear, practical steps together, learn from what works, and adapt when needed. I take a weight-neutral, whole-person view, addressing physical, emotional, and social factors while teaching skills that help you sustain change without harsh rules.

Your first session with Darcy

We'll begin by reviewing your medical history and any relevant details so I understand your health context. Then we'll take a thoughtful, nonjudgmental look at your relationship with food, routines, and past attempts. That conversation helps us identify realistic areas to start changing. Before you leave we'll agree on one or two short-term, actionable goals so you have a clear, manageable next step and we can build from there together.
