About Daniela
Nutrition first drew me in during hospital shifts, where I saw how food and thoughtful counseling can change recovery and daily life. I practice as a registered dietitian with an MS from the University of Connecticut and I bring one year of clinical experience to each appointment. Outside of work you might find me hiking, reading on a sunny bench, climbing at the gym, or knitting and crocheting when I need to slow down. I value practical plans that fit your life, not perfect rules.
Approach to care
I combine evidence-based guidance with a warm, nonjudgmental stance so we can make real, lasting changes together. We will focus on behaviors and health outcomes rather than weight alone, using science-driven strategies that are personalized and sustainable. I keep things direct and practical, translating research into simple steps you can try, and I prioritize education so you'll leave feeling confident to make choices that work for your whole life.
Your first session with Daniela
Expect a calm, collaborative conversation where we explore your relationship with food and the rhythms of your day. We'll review medical history so recommendations are safe and tailored, and we'll establish a couple of short-term goals that feel doable. You do not need to have everything figured out. We'll work together at a pace that respects your routine and builds sustainable habits, with clear next steps to get you started.
