About Cynthia
A decade in nutrition taught me that people are more than lab values. I earned my BS/MS in Nutrition and Dietetics from D'Youville University and practice locally in Buffalo, New York as an RDN and CDN. My years working in hospitals, community health, long term care, and private practice taught me to balance clinical rigor with practical, real-life solutions. Outside of work you'll find me hiking with my dogs, primitive camping, working out, cooking, or at a concert! I bring structure and flexibility, curiosity, and a very human, non-judgmental spirit to every visit.
Approach to care
I use science as a map and compassion as the compass. Care is grounded in evidence, yet tuned to your life, not a one-size plan. I practice with a weight-neutral, behavior-focused lens, looking at the whole person, from sleep and stress to relationships and routines. We'll work together to translate research into clear, doable steps, holding space for nuance and the messy parts of change. My goal is to teach you the skills so you can sustain progress long term, with accountability and kindness.
Your first session with Cynthia
The initial visit is a calm, collaborative conversation, not an exam. We'll review your medical history and any lab work or biometrics you bring, and we will take a deep dive into your relationship with food so we understand patterns, strengths, and frustrations. Together we'll set one or two short-term goals that feel realistic, and I'll offer practical tools you can try right away. You don't need to be perfect or have everything figured out, we'll figure it out together in a judgment-free space.
