About Cynthia

As an RDN with an MS in Clinical Nutrition from New York University, I bring two years of hands-on experience from working in a skilled nursing facility that has really helped me shape my sense of empathy, listening, and understanding. I love translating medical guidance into simple, doable steps that fit into busy lives. Especially during the spring, I love gardening, experimenting in the kitchen with new recipes and baked treats, working on crossword puzzles, and taking my golden retriever out for fun hikes. I'm passionate about helping you build the confidence to maintain long-term, sustainable habits.

Approach to care

I blend current research with a warm, nonjudgmental space so we can make practical changes together. We'll focus on behaviors and skills, using weight-neutral principles to support holistic well-being, including mental and emotional factors. I stay direct and action-oriented, turning evidence into clear, teachable steps so you gain knowledge and confidence. Together we'll prioritize sustainable habits that fit your life, not quick fixes.

Your first session with Cynthia

Expect a relaxed, thorough conversation where we'll begin to explore your relationship with food, review medical history, and uncover what has and hasn't worked for you. I aim to make this a judgment-free space, so you don't need to have everything figured out beforehand. We'll set a couple of short-term, realistic goals and leave with clear, manageable action steps to begin building sustainable progress together.
