About Colette

Twenty years in nutrition have shown me that food is never just fuel, it’s connection, culture, comfort, and care. As an RD with a PhD from the University of California, Davis, I’ve moved between clinical hospital work, research and academia, private practice, community health, corporate wellness, and sports nutrition. That variety taught me to meet people where they are. When I’m not with patients you’ll find me traveling, experimenting in the kitchen with baking projects, folding in a yoga class, reading, or enjoying time with friends and family.

Approach to care

I blend rigorous science with warm, practical support so we can create sustainable change together. Recommendations are rooted in current research, yet tailored to the whole person, including sleep, stress, movement, and emotional wellbeing. I use a health at every size perspective and avoid diet culture, focusing instead on behavior-based skills and clear, doable steps. We’ll set realistic targets, track what matters, and learn along the way so you feel empowered to make decisions that last.

Your first session with Colette

During the initial visit we’ll take a thoughtful, non-judgmental look at your medical history and any lab work or biometrics you have. We’ll also dive into your relationship with food, what’s felt helpful or hard, and the routines that shape your days. This is a low-pressure conversation, and you don’t need answers before we meet. Together we’ll translate what we learn into one or two short-term goals that feel manageable, so you leave with clarity and a clear next step.
