About Christina
Eighteen years as a Registered Dietitian and a BS in Human Nutrition and Dietetics have shaped how I approach nutrition care. I’ve practiced in hospitals and community health settings, and served as a clinical dietitian at the Columbia VA Health Care System as well as multiple private care settings through time spent with with management contract companies-Morrison and Sodexo. My trainings and certifications, including CSG, CSR, and AP, inform the practical, evidence-based plans I create. When I’m not working I enjoy hiking, cooking and testing recipes from cookbooks, fishing, and browsing for new kitchen finds.
Approach to care
Nutrition counseling should feel practical, respectful, and rooted in good science. I combine evidence-based guidance with clear, action-oriented steps and an educational style so you understand why changes matter. Care is delivered in a warm, non-judgmental way that honors a weight-neutral perspective, focusing on behaviors and wellbeing rather than labels. We’ll work together to build sustainable habits that fit your life, addressing the whole person, not just food choices. I believe life is challenging, and nutrition should not be. Hoping to help make that a reality for any patient wishing to focus on overall better health.
Your first session with Christina
We’ll use the first session to get a full picture of your health in a low-pressure, judgment-free conversation. Expect a review of medical history and lab work or biometrics, and a deep dive into your relationship with food and daily routines. Together we’ll set a couple of short-term goals and outline a practical meal plan you can try. You don’t need to have all the answers; I ask questions to understand barriers and strengths so we can choose realistic next steps together.
