About Cheryl
Food and the outdoors have always been where I recharge. Over 40 years as a registered dietitian, built on a BS in Clinical and Community Dietetics, I’ve worked in spas, clubs, resorts, cardiac rehab, university food services and counseling students with allergies, corporate wellness programs, WIC, and at the YMCA. That breadth shaped my prevention work in women’s health. As an RD, LD, and LDN practicing in Plymouth, Massachusetts, I blend science with practical skills. When I’m not with patients, I’m hiking, gardening and growing vegetables and fruit, or cooking as a chef and teaching people how to use what they harvest.
Approach to care
Evidence and empathy guide how we work together. I ground recommendations in current science while staying warm and judgment-free, so we can focus on sustainable habits instead of quick fixes. We’ll set clear, actionable steps and build accountability that fits your life, honoring a Health At Every Size perspective. I look at the whole person, from sleep and stress to activity and emotions, and I teach the why behind each change so you gain skills to make long-term choices with confidence.
Your first session with Cheryl
Expect a calm, low-pressure session where we’ll review your medical history and any lab work or biometrics you bring. We’ll take a thoughtful look at your relationship with food, routines, and barriers, then establish short-term goals that feel doable. Together we’ll put together a practical meal plan and a clear next step, so you leave supported and confident. You don’t need to have everything figured out, just your willingness to try small, sustainable changes.
