About Cheryl
Welcome! My name is Cheryl and I am truly excited to be part of your nutrition journey! For the past 30 years, nutrition has taught me that food is more than fuel, and I bring that perspective to every client. I earned a BA in Food, Nutrition & Exercise Physiology and practice as a CDN, RDN. My career has taken me through private practice, corporate wellness, community health, and out-patient based clinical care in Renal Nutrition, so I understand many sides of health care. I love cooking, dining out, traveling, watching movies, dancing, and spending time with my Rhodesian Ridgeback dogs. I also enjoy exploring culture through food.
Approach to care
My goal is to provide nutritional guidance that empowers my clients to view food as a source of strength, health, & joy. I am passionate about supporting my clients in building healthier & happier lives! I center care on evidence, empathy, and education. Grounded in current research and three decades of real-world experience, we'll set clear, practical steps for the future. We will build skills that that incorporate emotional needs and align with your lifestyle. Together we'll translate science into everyday strategies, so you can make sustainable changes that support long-term health and greater enjoyment of food.
Your first session with Cheryl
Our first session is a conversation about you. We'll start with a relaxed, thorough conversation to understand where you are and where you want to go. We'll review your medical history and any available lab work or biometrics, deep dive into your relationship with food, and identify short-term, realistic goals. Together we'll develop an initial meal plan and a couple of practical steps you can try at home. My aim is to make the visit supportive, and educational, so you leave with confidence, clarity and a manageable nutrition path forward.
