About Caroline
I'm a Registered Dietitian passionate about helping athletes (adult and adolescent), pregnant and postpartum women, and those suffering from eating disorders/disordered eating adopt balanced nutrition to perform better, live fulfilled, and celebrate food. As a lifelong athlete and Division I lacrosse player at Princeton University, I struggled to adopt balanced nutrition and a positive body image. Learning the science behind food and how our bodies work helped me heal this mismatched thinking and become a stronger athlete and person. My master’s thesis proposed a sports nutrition program aimed at reducing disordered eating in female adolescent athletes. Before attending graduate school, living in Jackson Hole, Wyoming I founded granola and healthy lifestyle company, Born to Crunch. I was inspired by the needs and experiences of my fellow endurance athletes playing and competing in the demanding conditions of the Tetons and Rocky Mountains. My career in nutrition naturally followed.
Approach to care
I understand that every person and every body is different. Rather than follow nutrition fads, I use a common sense approach grounded in science and data. I translate current research into clear, practical steps so you can make sustainable changes without dieting rules or blame. I listen to your lifestyle, nutrition needs, and preferences, tailoring advice to fit your life. My goal is to improve your health and well-being while helping you appreciate the joy of food. You'll leave sessions with actionable skills, accountability, and the knowledge to make choices that fit your life.
Your first session with Caroline
During the initial visit we'll review your medical history and any lab work or biometrics you have, then take a thoughtful look at your relationship with food. We'll set short-term, achievable goals and build a starting meal plan that fits your routine. The conversation is low-pressure and judgment-free, so you don't need to have it all figured out. We'll leave with clear next steps and practical tools to begin making sustainable change together.
