About Carley

Your relationship to food, body and movement have always guided my work. I was a division 1 lacrosse player and coach, earned a BS in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention, and MS in Nutrition at the University of Southern California. Over the past eight years I’ve practiced as a Registered Dietitian in clinical, professional sports, corporate wellness, and private practice settings. My experience includes USC sports nutrition food service, Philadelphia Eagles NFL sports science team, Verizon HQ corporate wellness team, outpatient eating disorder PHP/IOP treatment programs, and providing nutrition and fitness education on social media @cj.train. I bring a movement lens too, with CSCS strength coach training and RYT yoga teaching I’ve taught every group fitness class you could think of (F45, Yoga, indoor cycling..). When I’m not working you’ll find me in LA dance classes, traveling to see friends and family around the country, or exploring the outdoors.

Approach to care

I center our work in current science while treating you as a whole person. Together we’ll translate evidence-based guidance into practical, sustainable habits that fit your life. No rigid rules here. I practice weight-neutral, behavior-focused care, so we concentrate on skills and choices that support wellbeing. I’m warm, nonjudgmental, and also direct when it helps, giving clear action steps and education so you gain confidence and long-term change.

Your first session with Carley

Expect curiosity and listening rather than a lecture. After I share a bit about my background, I want to hear your story, what’s worked, what hasn’t, and how you perceive your nutrition journey. This is a low-pressure, judgment-free conversation, you don’t need perfect answers or preparation. Together we’ll identify a couple of practical, and effective goals and I’ll share relevant and simplified nutrition information to help you feel more confident between visits. I’m excited to meet you and build something sustainable together!
