About Caitlin
Nutrition has been my compass for 13 years as a Registered Dietitian, informed by an MS in Gerontology from Long Beach. I’ve supported patients in hospitals, outpatient clinics, rehab centers, in-home settings and through telehealth, translating evidence into realistic plans that fit day-to-day life. Outside of work I paint, practice yoga, play the violin, and spend time with family and friends, which keeps me grounded and reminds me that small joys matter for long-term health.
Approach to care
Evidence guides what I recommend, and empathy shapes how we put it into practice. I take a weight-neutral, whole-person view that honors emotional and physical needs, while teaching clear, science-based strategies we can try together. Sessions are educational and direct, so you’ll get practical steps and accountability rather than quick fixes. We focus on sustainable habits that fit your life, not perfection or restrictive rules.
Your first session with Caitlin
Think of the first visit as a collaborative conversation where we’ll review lab work and biometrics, go over your medical history, and take a deep look at your relationship with food. There’s no judgment and no pressure to have everything figured out. Together we’ll identify a couple of short-term, doable goals and the first steps to build toward lasting change, with clear explanations of the science behind our plan.
