About Caitlin

Food has always been my favorite way to connect with people. I’m a Registered Dietitian with 12 years of experience and a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. I earned my B.S. in Nutrition and Food Science from the University of Maryland and my M.S. in Nutrition from Stony Brook University. My work has spanned hospitals, outpatient clinics, community health programs, and private practice, which allows me to bring a well-rounded perspective to each client. Outside of work, I enjoy cooking/keeping my sourdough starter alive, getting lost in a good book, working in my garden, and playing tennis.

Approach to care

Evidence and empathy guide my approach. I use current research to create clear, practical steps while keeping our work together warm and nonjudgmental. We focus on sustainable habits, not quick fixes, with an emphasis on overall well-being. I take a whole person approach, considering sleep, stress, and daily routines as part of nutrition. My goal is to help you feel informed, supported, and confident in making choices that last, with realistic steps we can adjust as your life evolves.

Your first session with Caitlin

During your first visit, we’ll review your medical history, discuss any labs or biometrics, and talk through your daily routines and challenges in a relaxed, judgment-free way. Together, we’ll identify one or two realistic short-term goals and create a plan that fits your life, not the other way around. You don’t need to come in with all the answers, this is a collaborative conversation. You can expect clear next steps, support, and a plan we’ll continue to adjust as you make progress.
