About Caitlin
Food and flavor have always been central to my life, whether Iβm testing a new family-friendly recipe or untangling a hospital case. I draw on 11 years as a registered dietitian, practicing as an RD and LDN, and hold an MS in Dietetics and an MEd in Nutrition Education. My career spans clinical hospital work and time as a professional chef and culinary instructor, so I enjoy blending science and cooking. I love helping busy people find joy in meals. After the kids go to bed you'll usually find me reading, or out walking my senior Morkie and offering extra belly rubs.
Approach to care
Nutrition care should be rooted in science and fit into real life. I use evidence-based strategies while creating a warm, nonjudgmental space where we can explore your relationship with food together. We'll set clear, practical steps and measurable short-term goals, focusing on sustainable habits rather than quick fixes. I practice from a Health At Every Size perspective, consider the whole person, and prioritize teaching you skills and knowledge so you can make informed choices long term.
Your first session with Caitlin
Expect a relaxed, in-depth conversation about your relationship with food, routines, wins, and frustrations. We'll review relevant history and medications if they're important to you, and I have experience working with GLP-1s so we can discuss how that fits into your plan. Together we'll establish a couple of short-term, achievable goals and create a meal plan that fits your tastes and schedule; happy to frame it into strategies that work for busy families as well! You don't need to have it all figured out, we'll start with practical steps that feel manageable and set a clear path forward.
