About Brooke

Nutrition felt like the unexpected yet ideal fit for my career, which took me from a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of South Florida to a Master of Dietetics and Nutrition at The Ohio State University. I have worked as a dietitian in community health programs as well as a partial hospitalization program for eating disorders. I bring practical, science-based counseling to everyday life. When I'm not working I enjoy reading, being in nature with my toddler and pup, thrifting, and enjoying a cup of tea or coffee.

Approach to care

Science guides the recommendations I offer, and Health At Every Size shapes how we frame goals so progress is measured by well-being, not a number. I combine evidence-based practices with direct, actionable steps so we'll build sustainable habits rather than quick fixes. Together we'll address your needs as a whole person, including sleep, stress, routines, and emotional connections to food, in a warm, nonjudgmental space. I teach the why behind changes so you can make informed choices that last.

Your first session with Brooke

When we meet for the first time we'll take a gentle but thorough look at your medical history and how you experience food and your body, so I can understand the full picture. We'll talk about what matters most to you, review what has or hasn't worked, and together establish one or two short-term, realistic goals to get started. This is a low-pressure, judgment-free conversation. You don't need to have it all figured out, just come as you are and we'll plan practical next steps.
