About Brooke
My passion for nutrition began as a collegiate athlete, where I experienced firsthand how fueling impacts performance, recovery, and overall well-being. Over time, that passion expanded into a deeper interest in how nutrition supports long-term health, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions. I hold both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Nutrition Science, along with a minor in Kinesiology. I’ve worked with Division I athletes through my experience with Northwestern’s performance nutrition team, and I currently practice as an inpatient clinical dietitian, working with a wide range of medical conditions and patient populations. I take a balanced, practical approach to nutrition. Whether your goals are performance-based or health-focused, I aim to provide individualized support that fits your lifestyle and helps you build sustainable habits!
Approach to care
My care philosophy is rooted in a collaborative and open-minded approach. I ask that clients come into each session with curiosity and honesty, and I promise to do the same! I strive to meet individuals where they are at, using evidence-based nutrition therapy, while keeping it realistic. I value transparency and believe that meaningful progress comes from trust, consistency, and a plan that aligns with your goals and lifestyle!
Your first session with Brooke
In your first session with me, we’ll focus on getting to know each other! We’ll chat about your day-to-day, your interests, and what brought you to working with a dietitian. We’ll also review your medical history and talk through your relationship with food. Additionally, we’ll touch on long-term goals and what you ultimately want to achieve from our sessions. From there, we’ll work on developing short-term goals and outlining how to prepare for our next session so we can move forward with intention.
