About Brenda

Working in hospitals and outpatient clinics over the past three years taught me how varied nutrition care can be. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Nutrition and practice as an RDN with CNSC training, which helps when supporting people across pregnancy and postpartum care, gestational diabetes, adult diabetes, weight management, high cholesterol, hypertension, and cancer. Outside of work I read, take dance lessons, crochet and make jewelry, and I'm learning to play piano. I enjoy getting to know the whole person behind each nutrition question and helping people find practical ways to feel better in their daily lives.

Approach to care

Evidence and empathy guide how I work. I rely on current research and clinical experience to shape clear, practical steps we'll try together, while keeping conversations weight-neutral and free of judgment. We focus on sustainable habits that fit your life, looking at sleep, stress, movement, and food as parts of a whole. I'll teach the reasoning behind recommendations, and we'll set achievable actions so progress feels realistic and lasting.

Your first session with Brenda

Expect a relaxed, collaborative visit where we'll review your medical history and any lab work or biometrics you can share. We'll talk through your routines, past efforts, and what feels most important to you, all in a no-pressure, judgment-free space. Together we'll set a few short-term goals and practical next steps, so you leave with clarity and doable actions rather than feeling overwhelmed.
