About Bethany
After seven years working as a Registered Dietitian and completing my degree at the University of Missouri in Columbia, I bring clinical hospital experience to everyday nutrition counseling. That background helps me interpret lab work and medical context while staying focused on the person in front of me. I recharge with music, dance, exercise, beach days, and making memories with friends and my miniature dachshund. I want care that fits your life and feels sustainable.
Approach to care
Science guides the recommendations I share, but compassion shapes how we get there. I use evidence-based practices with a Health At Every Size lens to keep conversations weight-neutral and behavior-focused. Together we'll translate research into clear, practical steps, set achievable short-term goals, and build sustainable habits that honor your whole life, including sleep, movement, and emotional wellbeing. I aim to teach you the why behind changes so you leave each visit more confident and empowered.
Your first session with Bethany
When we meet for the first time, we'll take a low-pressure look at your medical history and any lab work or biometrics you bring so I can see the full picture. We'll talk about what matters to you, what has worked or not in the past, and then identify one or two short-term goals that feel doable. You don't need to have everything figured out, just bring your questions and honesty. This is a judgment-free, collaborative visit where we build small, evidence-based steps you can stick with.
