About Ashlee
Food has always been both my work and my joy. I earned a BS in Nutrition Science from Penn State and a Masters from Utah State University and have spent 15 years as a Registered Dietitian working in clinical hospital settings and private practice, helping women find confidence with food without diets or guilt. My RD and LDN licensure, along with CSOWM and MDA training, shape a flexible, realistic approach. At home I’m a mom of two, an amateur cake baker who loves cooking and reading, and I recharge by exploring the mountains and dancing with my kiddos.
Approach to care
Evidence and empathy steer how I work with patients. I bring science-based strategies together with a health at every size perspective, focusing on behaviors and wellbeing rather than weight. Sessions are judgment-free and educational, so we translate research into clear, practical steps we can try together. I prioritize the whole person, including emotional and lifestyle factors, and aim for sustainable, measurable changes with gentle accountability rather than quick fixes.
Your first session with Ashlee
Expect a warm, low-pressure conversation where we'll explore your relationship with food, what’s worked and what hasn’t, and how eating fits into your day-to-day life. We'll take a deep dive into patterns and feelings around food, and together we'll pick one or two short-term, realistic goals to get started. You don’t need to have it all figured out, just bring your questions and experiences, and we’ll build a sustainable plan without guilt or pressure.
