âWorking with April has been life-changing! Sheâs helped me learn how to fuel my body on both workout and rest days, and to let go of the idea that certain foods are âoff limits.â Sheâs relatable, caring, and keeps her advice realistic and affordable. April truly listens, and I look forward to our weekly sessions. She always challenges me in the best way. Iâm so grateful for her support and guidance!â

About April
Hi, Iâm April - a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Exercise Physiologist specializing in sports nutrition, performance fueling, and evidence-based nutrition for everyday health. I help people simplify nutrition, boost energy, and build habits that support better health - without extremes or confusion. Iâve worked with Border Patrol Special Forces, the military, Olympic athletes, ultramarathoners, and CrossFit/HYROX competitors. My greatest joy, though, comes from helping everyday people - busy parents, professionals, and anyone who wants to feel stronger, healthier, and more confident in their body. I work with adults of all activity levels and health backgrounds, including those managing diabetes, cholesterol, blood pressure, weight concerns, digestive issues, and fatigue. I also help active individuals - or those who want to be - learn how to fuel for performance and recovery. Together, weâll create a plan that fits your goals and your real life.
Approach to care
Nutrition should make life easier, not harder. I donât believe in rigid rules, off-limit food lists, or quick fixes. Instead, we focus on building balanced, sustainable habits that fit your schedule and preferences. My approach is evidence-based, practical, and supportive - with clear guidance so you understand what youâre doing and why. The goal isnât perfection. Itâs something that actually works.
Your first session with April
Your first session is all about understanding your full picture. Weâll talk through your goals, health history, daily habits, and training (if applicable), along with what has or hasnât worked for you in the past. From there, Iâll help you identify whatâs not working - and give you clear, realistic steps you can start right away. Youâll leave with a plan that fits your life and a roadmap for long-term progress. Youâll leave with clear, realistic steps you can start right away and a roadmap for long-term progress. My style is direct but supportive - Iâll explain the âwhyâ behind recommendations so youâre not just following rules, but building the knowledge and confidence to make nutrition easier for life.
