About Anna
Hi! I'm Anna. I have been a registered dietitian for over 20 years, working in private practice as well as teaching nutrition classes at several different universities and colleges. I know there is a lot of information and disinformation available about nutrition, which can get confusing and frustrating. I want to help you build a solid foundation of knowledge and habits that you can use throughout your life.
Approach to care
Evidence and empathy guide how I work. I ground recommendations in current research while keeping conversations warm and judgment-free. We'll focus on clear, practical steps that build sustainable habits, not quick fixes. Using a weight-neutral, whole-person lens, I look at physical, mental, and emotional factors. Education is part of care, so I'll explain the science behind choices and help you gain the skills to make change that lasts. I love helping people discover that healthy eating can be enjoyable and achievable.
Your first session with Anna
During the initial visit we'll take a thoughtful, low-pressure look at your food history and medical background, and talk through long-term goals so we can identify short-term steps that feel doable. You don't need to have everything figured out. Together we'll set one or two practical, measurable goals, agree on how we'll track progress, and outline follow-up that supports steady, sustainable change.
