About Angelika
My name is Angelika and I am excited to dive back into the counseling world. I have spent my career practicing in Missouri. My experience includes working with adults in hospitals and with women and children in the community setting. I am passionate about helping patients in all walks of life achieve their short term and long term health goals.
Approach to care
I believe it is incredibly important to find the balance between evidence based research/science and understanding the whole person. I want to help patients get away from the idea that we need to restrict food/food groups in order to be healthy especially because everyone's definition of that is different.
Your first session with Angelika
In your first session, I will ask you what your ultimate goal in working with a dietitian is. We will spend the rest of the time learning about your current relationship with food, getting to know you, and using that information to create attainable steps to reach that goal.
