About Angela
For 29 years I have worked as an RD and LD, guided by a BS in Nutrition from The Ohio State University. My career has taken me through clinical hospital care, private practice, dialysis units, long-term care and assisted living, pharmaceutical sales, and even a county jail. I'm driven by meaningful impact and I meet patients where they are, developing goals together that fit real life. When I'm not working I love traveling, cooking, and exercising, which keeps my approach practical and joyful.
Approach to care
Nutrition counseling should be grounded in science and delivered with compassion. I use evidence-based guidance alongside a Health At Every Size perspective, focusing on sustainable, weight-neutral habits rather than quick fixes. In our sessions we'll learn together, translate research into practical steps, and set clear, actionable goals you can actually use. I listen without judgment, consider the whole person, and teach skills that help you build lasting change over time.
Your first session with Angela
Expect a calm, collaborative conversation that reduces anxiety and honors where you are right now. We'll review your medical history, talk about routines and medications, and go through a 24 hour diet recall so we can understand a typical day. Together we'll establish short-term goals that feel doable and meaningful. You don't need to have everything figured out before the visit, just come as you are and we'll plan the next steps together.
