About Andrea

Food has always been both a science and a celebration for me. Across 15+ years as a Registered Dietitian, I blend clinical experience with a love of language and learning, having earned a BS in Dietetics and a BA in English at The Ohio State University, completed the Cleveland Clinic Dietetic Internship, and finished a MBA at Kent State. My career has taken me through hospital care, industry and now private practice and 1:1 care. As a Registered & Licensed Dietitian with an MBA, I bring clinical rigor, systems thinking, and a practical mindset. When I’m not working, I’m a dog mom, a runner who dabbles in cycling, strength training and yoga, a devoted baker, and an avid reader. I believe food is fuel as well as something to be celebrated for its social and cultural importance.

Approach to care

I center care on evidence, compassion, and clear steps that fit your life. Grounded in current research and my clinical background as an RDN, I use a Health At Every Size, weight-neutral lens to focus on behaviors, function, and wellbeing rather than a number on the scale. We'll translate science into manageable experiments, learn from what works, and adapt as we go. My style is warm and nonjudgmental, educational and direct, so together we build sustainable habits that honor your physical, emotional, and social life.

Your first session with Andrea

Expect a relaxed, judgment-free conversation where we'll review your medical history and look over any lab work or biometrics you bring. We'll also take a thoughtful deep dive into your relationship with food, what has helped you before, and where you feel stuck. Together we'll set one to two short-term, achievable goals and outline practical next steps. You don't need to have everything figured out; we'll create a plan that feels realistic and hopeful right from the start.
