About Andrea
Nutrition has been my compass for the past 14 years, guiding work across hospitals, private practice, and research settings. With an MS from Simmons University and credentials as an RDN, LDN and IBCLC, I blend clinical experience with academic rigor to keep recommendations current and practical. Based in Boston, Massachusetts, I love all sports, experimenting with global cuisines, learning new languages, and anything outdoors. Those passions help me connect food to culture, activity, and everyday life as we create sustainable habits together.
Approach to care
Food is not a moral judgement, it is data and delight. Grounded in the latest research from my years in academia and clinical care, I offer clear, actionable steps that are realistic for your life. We will work from a weight-neutral Health At Every Size perspective, honoring your lived experience while focusing on behaviors that support long-term well being. I aim to be warm and nonjudgmental, yet direct and practical, teaching you the skills to make choices that stick without pressure or quick fixes.
Your first session with Andrea
Expect a relaxed, thorough conversation where we review your medical history and current routines in a judgment-free space. We'll talk about what matters to you, identify short-term goals that feel achievable, and outline next steps tailored to your life. You don't need to arrive with answers or perfect notes, just bring your questions and honest details. By the end of the visit we'll have a clear, individualized plan and a couple of first actions we'll take together to get you moving toward sustainable change.
