About Andrea

Hi there, I'm Andrea! I help adults who feel stuck & lost with food, health, and dieting. If you’ve searched online, hired a professional, taken a course, and even “followed the plan”, but you still feel stuck and find yourself obsessing over progress... I’m here to help. My work is grounded in 10+ years of experience on evidence-based nutrition and a diploma in Mindset & Behavior Change Coaching, so you can start following through and seeing real change on what matters to you about your nutrition & health. Not by white-knuckling it, making you more confused, or using guilt, shame, and boring, plain foods. Instead, together, we make a simple science-backed nutrition plan that fits your life values, tastes, and health goals. You’ll have a clear framework that gives you confidence on how to start, how to stay consistent, and how to keep going.

Approach to care

I help people focus on feeling healthy and strong, instead of worrying about the number on the scale. I believe that everyone can work toward better health, no matter their size. I want my clients to feel safe, supported, and never judged. What sets me apart from other dietitians is my commitment and knowledge around behavior change science. My approach includes identifying your personal values around nutrition and helping you build a roadmap to bridge the gap between your current eating habits and where you want to be. When I work with you, I help you increase your self-compassion, learn how to listen to your body, choose foods that help you feel good, and build healthy habits you can keep for a long time. My goal is to help each person take care of themselves with kindness and confidence.

Your first session with Andrea

In our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know each other. I’ll complete a comprehensive nutrition assessment by asking you about your experiences with food, exercise, your body, medications, diagnosed medical conditions, goals, and anything else about your health and lifestyle you feel is important. This helps me understand how to best support you. Together, we’ll start making a plan to help you reach your goals. By the end of the session, you’ll know exactly what to focus on before we meet again: you’ll choose a few small, easy steps you can work on, and feel more confident about the next steps in your nutrition journey. At each session after that, we’ll talk about what went well, what was hard, and then update your plan so you can keep growing and making progress!
