About Amy
Nutrition has been my day-to-day for the past eight years, first working in hospital settings and now in private practice. With an MS in Nutrition Science and experience as a Registered Dietitian, I blend clinical training with practical, real-life solutions. When I'm not supporting patients you can usually find me cooking, tending my garden, or on a beach walk or hike. I meet people where they are and tailor care to each person's goals and needs.
Approach to care
Evidence guides the recommendations I bring, but what matters most is whether a plan fits your life. I practice in a weight-neutral, HAES-aligned way that focuses on behaviors and sustainable habits rather than numbers. We'll work together with clear, actionable steps rooted in research, while also honoring the emotional and lifestyle pieces that shape eating. I aim to educate and empower you so change feels doable and long lasting.
Your first session with Amy
Expect a warm, low-pressure conversation where we'll review your medical history and look over any lab work or biometrics you have. We'll talk through routines, wins, and frustrations so we can establish short-term, realistic goals together. You don't need to have everything figured out before we meet. My goal is that you leave with clarity, a clear next step, and the reassurance that we'll adjust the plan as needed.
